How to Use My Travel Space
Your personal travel method planning workspace
Use My ZULSIRA’s Travel Space to explore readiness topics relating to your mode of travel, record your decisions and keep notes for each travel space. Work at your own pace. Your saved information will be there when you return.
ZULSIRA’s My Travel Space is a planning tool. It does not inspect, certify or guarantee the safety of your travel arrangements.
1. Getting started
What is My ZULSIRA?
It is your personal place to plan pet travel. Choose a travel space, review readiness items, record what you want to do and track your progress.
How do I start?
- Open My ZULSIRA Travel Spaces.
- Create a travel space and give it a clear name.
- Choose its travel type and pathway, then save.
- Open the workspace and start with Not assessed yet.
Must I finish everything now?
No. You can review one item at a time and return later.
2. Travel spaces
What is a travel space?
A travel space is a separate planning record for one yacht, boat, vehicle or travel setup. For example, Flam for your yacht and Cruiser for your vehicle.
Can I have more than one?
Yes. Each travel space keeps its own decisions, progress and notes.
How do I return to one?
Open My ZULSIRA Travel Spaces, find the space you want and open its workspace.
3. Travel pathway and travel type
What is the difference?
Your pathway describes the journey you plan. Your travel type describes the yacht, boat or vehicle you use.
Why do these matter?
They help ZULSIRA show readiness items that fit your travel plans.
What if my plans change?
Use the available Change or edit controls to review your settings. Check the readiness items shown after making a change.
4. Readiness areas
What are readiness areas?
They organise items into sections. Sailing areas include Yacht Exterior, Yacht Interior, Dinghy and Related Systems. Overland areas include Vehicle Exterior and Vehicle Interior.
How do I open an area?
Select its button or heading. Other areas close to keep the page easy to use.
Why is a button unavailable?
That area may not have published items yet. You can work in the available areas.
5. My decision
What can I choose?
- Not looked at yet — I have not decided.
- I want to do this — include it in my plans.
- Not applicable — it does not apply to this travel space.
What happens after I choose?
Your choice saves and the item moves to the matching group. You can change your decision later.
6. My progress
What do the options mean?
- Not started — I have not begun the work.
- In progress — I am working on it.
- Completed — I have finished what I planned to do.
Do I need to set progress straight away?
No. When you choose I want to do this, progress can stay at Not started.
Does Completed mean the item is safe?
No. It records your own progress. It is not a safety check or certification.
7. Where did my item go?
Why did an item move?
Items move automatically when you change My decision or My progress.
Where can I find it?
Open the relevant group in the same readiness area: Assessing / In progress, Not assessed yet, Completed or Not applicable.
Have I lost my notes?
No. Moving an item between groups does not remove its saved notes.
8. My personal notes
What can I write?
Use notes for measurements, equipment to check, questions or reminders. Keep them specific to that item.
How do I save a note?
- Open My personal notes on the item.
- Write or edit your note (up to 2,000 characters).
- Select Save notes.
Will notes stay with the item?
Yes. Saved notes remain with that item when its group changes. Always save before leaving the page.
9. Overview, Guide, Checklist, How-to and Video
What are these links for?
They open extra information about an item. Overview introduces the topic; Guide explains it; Checklist helps you review points; How-to gives practical steps; Video shows information where available.
Why are some links missing?
Not every item has a detail page yet. You can still make decisions and save notes.
Does reading a page change my progress?
No. You decide when to update your progress.
10. Leaving and returning
How do I return from a detail page?
Use the Return to My ZULSIRA control where available, or go back to your travel spaces.
Will I lose my work?
Saved decisions, progress and notes stay with your account and travel space. Save notes before leaving.
Does the page remember which section I opened?
It can remember your recent section and group in the same browser. Another browser or device may open in a different place.
11. Managing travel spaces
Can I change a travel space?
Use the management controls shown on My ZULSIRA Travel Spaces to edit its details.
What if I no longer use one?
Check which options your account offers before making changes. Keep a space if you still need its planning record.
Should I delete a space?
Only if you are sure you no longer need its information. Do not assume deleted records can be recovered.
12. Importing browser profiles
Why am I being offered an import?
ZULSIRA may find travel profiles you created in this browser while signed out.
What does Import do?
It creates separate travel spaces in your account. Existing account spaces are not overwritten. If a name is already used, ZULSIRA adds a number, such as Flam (1).
Must I import them?
No. You can choose Not now and review browser travel profiles later.
Does it import old checklist answers?
No. The current import transfers profiles, not older planning answers saved only in the browser.
13. Common questions
Do I need to complete every item?
No. Decide what applies to your travel space. Review the risks and requirements that matter to your pet and journey.
Can I change an answer later?
Yes. Reopen the item and update your decision or progress.
Can I use a phone?
Yes. The workspace is designed for mobile, tablet and desktop use.
Does completing the list mean I am ready to travel?
No. You must still check relevant rules, equipment, conditions and professional advice where
